Mantsopa Local Municipality (MLM) is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that all the spaza shop owners and vendors are registered on municipal database as per the directive of South African State President, Cyril Ramaphosa. Local Economic Development (LED) Office recently held a brief meeting with Ladybrand based tuckshop owners and vendors who have already submitted their applications to acquire business licenses. To extend an invite to them the Municipality had used various communication channels known to this targeted group and the meeting took place as planned in Ladybrand at Ladybrand Town Hall. The late Refuse and Waste Management Truck Driver who was under the employ of Mantsopa Local Municipality (MLM), Mr. Tseko Petrus Lethunya will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Facilitated by Reverend Kopano Chauke, his memorial service was yesterday (9th January, 2024) held in Ladybrand at Ladybrand Town Hall.
Reverend Abertnigo Litabe shared the word of God with the deceased's friends, colleagues and family members.

Mantsopa Local Municipality (MLM) Speaker-cum-Ward 4 Councillor, Mvuyo Ncwada is using his personal resources and team to wage war againgst the potholes in Ladybrand.
Today together with his team where seen in Piet Retief Street patching the potholes. The municipal Road and Stormwater team is also busy with routine road maintanance.

Kindly note that water interruption currently experienced in Ladybrand is as a result of clarifiers that are overflowing in the middle causing the water to be discoloured.
The team is busy desludging clarifiers to ensure clean water is supplied to town.
